A Health ATM is a self-service screening station with one attendant on hand. Somebody walks up, follows the voice prompts, and about ten minutes later walks away with a printed report - no lab, no appointment, and no clinician needed to run the test.

What it does
Everything a nurse would do in a first appointment - height, weight, blood pressure, oxygen, temperature, a finger-prick blood panel - the machine does on its own, and prints the result before the person walks away.
What it does not
It does not diagnose, and it does not replace a doctor. What it does is find the people who need one: undiagnosed hypertension, blood sugar, anaemia - most of what a screening programme looks for shows up in numbers a machine can take.

Nine questions worth asking any manufacturer
Most of the difference between one Health ATM and another does not show in the photographs. These are the questions that separate them.
- Is it CDSCO licensed? In India a medical device needs it. Ask for the licence number, not the word.
- Which parameters are in this quotation? Platforms advertise their maximum. Get the list for the configuration you are being sold.
- What do the consumables cost per test? Strips and lancets are the running cost, and over three years they usually exceed the machine.
- Who calibrates it, and how often? An uncalibrated instrument produces numbers that look fine and are wrong.
- What happens when the internet drops? A station that only works online is useless in exactly the places that need one. Ask how long it runs offline and what syncs afterwards.
- Where does the data live, and who owns it? ISO 27001, the DPDP Act, and a written answer on whether the vendor may use your screening data.
- What is the response time when it breaks? On paper, with penalties. A dead kiosk in a district hospital is a political problem, not a technical one.
- Can it print, and which languages does it speak? Obvious until the first camp, when half the queue cannot read the screen.
- Who trains the operator? The machine runs itself, but somebody has to be there - to guide first-time users, refill strips and restart it.
What the price actually depends on
Nobody can quote a Health ATM off a web page, and any site that prints one number is guessing. Here is what moves it, so you can judge a quotation when you get one.
Form factor

A digital health kiosk is a connected healthcare ecosystem that combines medical devices, software, teleconsultation and digital reporting to make preventive health screening more affordable and accessible. A Health ATM is a phygital healthcare point that combines physical screening infrastructure with connected medical devices, software, digital records, AI-assisted insights and telemedicine. The patient follows a guided workflow, completes the selected health measurements, receives a consolidated report and, where enabled, can connect with a doctor remotely. Health ATM configurations typically range from approximately INR 7 lakh to INR 10 lakh. The exact price depends on the model, medical devices, screening parameters, software, integrations, customisation, branding, quantity and deployment requirements.
What tests can be performed on a Health ATM? Can the tests on a Health ATM be customised?
Depending on the model and selected configuration, Clinics on Cloud Health ATMs can support 60+ preventive health parameters. Configurations can include general vitals, height, weight, BMI, body composition, blood pressure, SpO2, pulse, temperature, blood glucose, HbA1c, haemoglobin, lipid profile, ECG, spirometry, audiometry, vision screening, uric acid, urine parameters and other supported modules. How long does a Health ATM health checkup take? How many patients can be tested in a day?
Clinics on Cloud screening session can be completed in approximately 10–15 minutes, depending on the tests included and the user's workflow. Rapid tests, telemedicine may require additional time. Approximately 80–100 patients can be screened per day, depending on operator training, workflow and efficiency.
What recurring costs should a buyer consider?
Recurring costs can include consumables, software or service subscriptions where applicable, connectivity, telemedicine services, biomedical-waste management, AMC and replacement of consumable or wear-and-tear items. The exact structure depends on the configuration and commercial model.
Do bulk orders receive different pricing?
Yes. Quantity is one of the factors considered while preparing project commercials. Bulk deployments may also require different manufacturing, logistics, installation, support and integration planning, so a project-specific proposal is prepared.
Are Health ATM results validated against laboratory tests?
Health ATM tests are point-of-care assessments and are not intended to replace or be directly compared with conventional laboratory tests. Each integrated medical device undergoes its own accuracy, performance, and applicable regulatory testing and is already used across hospitals, clinics, and pathology labs. The Health ATM helps doctors and healthcare providers with faster screening, while confirmatory laboratory testing may be advised when clinically required.
What warranty and AMC support are available?
Warranty and post-warranty support are available according to the commercial proposal. The exact warranty period, AMC scope, replacement process, response time and exclusions should be confirmed for the purchased configuration.
How quickly can a Health ATM be delivered?
Delivery depends on model, configuration, quantity, branding, customisation, destination and project readiness. Standard configurations can generally be delivered faster than large or highly customised deployments. The committed timeline is provided with the project proposal.
Is a clinical establishment licence required for a Health ATM?
A standard preventive-screening Health ATM does not by itself function as a hospital or full diagnostic laboratory. However, licensing, registration, staffing, biomedical-waste and clinical-establishment requirements can vary depending on the services offered, sample collection, location and applicable state or local regulations. The deploying organisation should ensure compliance applicable to its specific use case.
Can the Health ATM be moved for health camps?
Yes. Depending on the model, the machine can be transported and reassembled for camps, outreach programmes and temporary deployments. For organisations that move frequently between sites, Clinics On Cloud can recommend a configuration suited to mobility.
How is biomedical waste managed?
Where the selected configuration generates biomedical waste, such as lancets, strips or other sample-related consumables, the deployment should follow applicable biomedical-waste segregation, storage and disposal requirements. This may be managed through the deploying healthcare institution or an authorised biomedical-waste disposal partner.
Can a Health ATM work without internet and during a power outage?
Yes. A Health ATM can operate in offline mode, allowing tests to be performed even without an active internet connection, with data synchronized once connectivity is restored. Clinics on Cloud Health Kiosks are also supplied with a UPS providing approximately 4–5 hours of power backup, depending on the configuration and operating conditions.
What infrastructure is required to install a Health ATM?
Typical requirements include a suitable indoor or protected space, standard electrical supply and internet connectivity through Wi-Fi, Ethernet or 4G/5G depending on the deployment. Space, ventilation and environmental requirements may vary according to the selected model and devices

Who installs the Health ATM and who can operate it?
Clinics on Cloud provides transportation, installation and operator training for the Health ATM. The kiosk can be operated by a trained operator who understands the device, testing workflow and patient assistance process. Additional training and support can also be provided whenever required.
What warranty, hardware replacement and software support is provided with a Health ATM?
Clinics on Cloud provides a one-year warranty, subject to warranty terms and excluding physical damage. Most integrated devices are plug-and-play, so if a device malfunctions, a replacement can be dispatched and connected to the existing Health ATM for quick restoration of services. The support coverage also includes the software platform, software upgrades, patient communications through email and WhatsApp, and the server infrastructure used for secure data storage, helping ensure continuity of the overall Health ATM ecosystem.
Can patient data be hosted on the client's infrastructure?
Client-controlled or project-specific hosting architecture can be evaluated depending on security, integration and infrastructure requirements. Responsibilities for infrastructure, security, maintenance and compliance should be defined as part of the implementation scope.
Who can operate the Health ATM?
